Meeting Your Needs

Tailored Resume

Why a TAILORED resume? A resume tells a concise story of who you are as a professional, however, a tailored resume helps an employer see how you are a fit for the position. You also have a greater chance of STANDING OUT, unlike with resume templates.

On average, an employer spends 6-10 seconds reading, or rather, scanning your resume. In that 6-10 seconds, you have to convince them you have the skills and experience to continue the conversation, ideally in an interview. Employers don't have the time to interpret your skills and experiences. Your tailored resume has to help make that connection for them...and we can do that for you!

Hiring managers have developed a trained eye for spotting resume templates. They can give off an impression of laziness and, unlike a tailored resume, it can signal a lack of effort. The way you treat your resume can be correlated to the way you treat your position. There's often the thought that if you look to take short cuts and/or quick routes with your resume...you're likely to do the same within your job functions. That's a risk you may not want to take.

Trust us, a tailored resume is a great investment in yourself and for your career/job search.

Cover Letter

As a part of the application process, some companies require you to submit a cover letter with your resume, explaining why you're qualified for the position. Research suggests that employers favor resumes that are accompanied by a cover letter, making it a critical component of your job-search strategy. Cover letters are just as valued as resumes because they give you the opportunity to tell your story.

The cover letter emphasizes your key strengths. It's importnat because it showcases how your unique combination of skills and experience meet the key requirements of the job description. The wording of your cover letter can express your personality in a way that your resume cannot. h a cover letter you have the chance to exhibit your qualifications and elaborate on what makes you a good fit. You get to define your personal brand and demonstrate what type of core values you can bring to the company.

Mock Interview & Consultation

While your resume may get you an interview, you must be able to really SELL YOURSELF, in that interview. A great way to prepare would be to do a mock interview. Through this process you learn how to answer difficult questions, develop interview strategies, improve your communication skills, and reduce stress before an actual job interview.

During the consultation, you can receive constructive feedback in a low-stress environment. Important points like body language and overall professional etiquette will be discussed with you.

If you're looking to boost your confidence and overall interview preparation, give our mock interview and consultation a try!
